Wessex Cancer Trust

Lifestyle issues are a significant factor in determining the risk of contracting cancer. The Trust promotes awareness of these risks and publishes a series of leaflets covering early warning signs, treatment and advice for patients. There are over 60 ‘Help Yourself’ leaflets and these can be ordered through us and are free within the Wessex region. Many hospitals issue Wessex Cancer Trust patient information folders to cancer patients on diagnosis. The contents of the folders are tailored for specific cancers and individual hospitals; they outline treatment, provide background information and a source of information likely to be needed by patients. The folders map out treatments and allow patients to monitor their progress.
